Beef Steak with Onions

Ingredients for 1:

0.5 lb beef
1 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp sliced onions
1 tsp flour
1 egg
Salt on taste

Method:

Cut the meat into portions, if you prefer small steaks.
Tenderize the meat until it is less than 1” thick.
Fry the onions on small heating with margarine until the onions change color.
Sprinkle the meat with flour.
Fry the meat on a large heating with margarine for about 2-3 minutes per side.
Place the meat and onions into an oven-safe dish, and bake in an oven pre-heated to 380 F for 5-7 minutes.
During this, fry the egg in a pan.
To serve, place the meat on to a serving dish, put the egg over it, sprinkle fried onions, and pour the meat juices over this. Place a garnish (French green beans, or boiled cauliflower, or boiled small potatoes) on the serving dish around the meat.
